7/28/12: CO State Summer Swim Club State Championships

The Golden Marlins 12 & unders competed in the final meet of the Season at the Splash here in Golden, The CO State Summer Club Swim Championships. The started out with the Medley Relay, with Tate swimming the breast leg:

They took 1st Place, and broke the Marlins Team record doing it!

Tate’s next swim was the 50m Butterfly (he was seeded 2nd), and he too 2nd Place in a very close race, re-breaking his own team record for a third time:

Tate followed up with a 2nd Place finish in the 50 Breaststroke:

After taking 2 seconds off his best Individual Medley time of the season and taking another 2nd Place, Tate swam his fastest 50 Free leg of the season (~33.69), leading off the free relay team to their second win of the day:

Tomorrow Reade swims three individual events, and hopefully the Marlins can hold onto their 2nd Place Overall standings!
